Our Family

A Place to Shine

We believe that the early years of a child’s life are the most important and that their early learning experiences can shape their future academic success. We appreciate that each child is unique and that learning occurs on an individual basis. Because we believe that “it takes a village to raise a child,” we collaborate closely with families and include community interaction in our curriculum. In everything we do, we uphold Christian values while maintaining respect for the spiritual diversity of our community.

All teachers/employees here meet one of the following requirements:
o Bachelor’s Degree or higher in any subject.
o Three or more years of K-12th grade teaching experience.

Passionate, dedicated, and loving, Early Scholars Learning Academy teachers love their work and it shows in everything they do. Our goal is to make a positive difference on young kids who come to our Preschool.

Miss Carol

Director/ VPK Lead Teacher

Miss Carol was born in Trinidad and Tobago, and is the Director and Founder of ESLA. She began her teaching career in Trinidad and Tobago in 1982, before moving to the US in 1995 with her family. After working her way up from the bottom, she was finally able to launch her lifetime dream of owning her own preschool after 15 years of teaching around the world. She opened ESLA in August 2012, and has never looked back on inspiring the next generation to be the best they can be!
