Our Curriculum

Our curriculum is based on a philosophy that encourages teachers to act as "partners in learning" alongside children. We utilize themed topics that include lessons in math, language, art, social studies, and computer science, to aid in scaffolding children's play. We believe in using encouragement and praise, and take a problem-solving approach to children's conflicts.

Throughout the year the children participate in a variety of experiences, meant to  enhance their understanding of both their own world, and the larger world around them.

Some of these integrated themes and topics include:

  • Establishment of daily routines are essential to the development of executive functions that lead to a successful school experience and life.

  • Who am I? Focus on children's social & emotional development as well as physical and mental wellness where they discover themselves, their family, and the world around them.

  • Exercising language, literacy, and communication by introducing dynamic vocabulary and encouraging critical thinking responses.

  • Encouraging a wide range of daily exposure to :

    • Math
